Here are a few videos from the past week. One is of Katelyn as a "shopping clerk". She came up with this routine at Laura's (daycare) and we just thought it was hilarious. Next is a video of Katelyn helping mommy get the Hershey Kisses ready to put in the cookies once they got out of the oven. Grandma, Mimi, Katelyn and mom had a ball making cookies for everyone (plus we got to here about them the rest of the weekend from Katelyn!). Finally the last video is of Katelyn playing with her brother Cameron. I realized I didn't have much of his laughter on the blog and since that is what he spends the majority of his time doing I figured I better get it on here. He is constantly got a smile on his face and laughing at one of us.

Do I have something on my face???
Here are a couple pictures from one of Cameron's first attempts to eating cereal....or at least we think he was trying to get some in his mouth....
He has watched us very closely over the past two months when we are eating or drinking at the table. If he is sitting in your lap, he will literally watch your fork all the way from the plate to your mouth. We had to wait until just recently to make the transition to cereal and boy is he eager to get the spoon in his mouth. He is very good about opening up wide, but we are still working on the swallowing bit (as you can see). He likes to blow out through his lips (another trick he has mastered in the past month) once he gets some food is his mouth. I'm convinced he knows exactly what he is doing!!!
You can click on each picture to enlarge it if you would like to see it up close (only if you dare!!)
So much fun....

Thanksgiving...
What a break it was....We had all kinds of family down to Garden City for the holiday. Katelyn and Cameron were so excited to spend a couple of days with Great Papa and Mimi. They also filled a full Thanksgiving day with Aunt Deb, Uncle Chuck, Aunt Annette and Uncle Duane. Both Katelyn and Cameron took quite a liking to Deb and Annette. Of course Deb won Katelyn over with her pictures of her dogs and Annette was busy giving Katelyn quarters to play with!! :) JK. Katelyn is still talking about her day with all of you!!! She wakes up and asks if she will get to see you today! :) Uncle Craig and Aunt Ashley also made it down Friday through Sunday. Grandma always hates it when Ashley comes to town - we all know where to find Katelyn.....hanging on Ashley!!! I know she puts up with a lot, but Katelyn sure adores her!
As always Katelyn was extatic to see her cousin Ethan - who she refers to as: "my best friend". We don't get to see him very often with everyone's busy schedules so she is always excited to play with him!!
Here is a video clip of some of the pictures I have so far. I'm hoping to get a few more from Scott and Angie or Grandma. Love you all!!!

Visit from up North...

Katelyn and Cameron really enjoyed a visit from their Grandma Pat and Grandpa Al from Canada in early November. Grandma and Grandpa Barrett got to spend some quality time with the kids during the week as Lee and Jenni had to go to work. We are all looking forward to traveling up north soon to meet our new nephew Blake Barrett!

A little late...
Sorry I'm a little late on getting this one up, but here are some pictures of the kids from Halloween. Katelyn was an angel (her choice), Cameron was a lion (borrowed from cousin Ethan) and Ethan was a Dalmation. It was a fun night together!!

August 30th A Special Day...
This past past Sunday I was baptized, as well as I celebrated turning 3 months old. It was such a special day for mom and dad. Uncle Criag and Kelley Snodgrass were my godparents. Uncle Craig and I will forever have a special connection and Kelley is a good friend of mommy's that she works with. The last slide is a picture of mommy and me with Kelley and my new friend Brodie (Born July 9th). I was also so happy to have the rest of my family there on my special day: Uncle Scott, Aunt Angie, Cousin Ethan, Aunt Ashley and of course Grandma and Grandpa. It was such a neat day! To finish it off I got to watch everyone else eat my cake(since I'm too little) that Aunt Angie made for me. It sure looked good and mommy and daddy assured me it was!!! Sure did miss Mimi, Papa, and Mimi Jean but understand completely why they couldn't be there! Love you all!
K-State Fun..
This past weekend was full of fun with the family. On Saturday the boys played in a golf tournament and then the family got together and took the following pictures. Every family is in a different color of K-State t-shirt. I must give Uncle Scott the credit for taking all of the pictures! He is really getting good!

Cameron Smiling...
Here is a video of Cameron and his smile. He is really starting to interact and it is so much fun. He loves to smile and really likes it when his big sister talks to him.
Also at the end of the video is a little something for Papa and Mimi from Katelyn.
Love you all!

Katelyn and Cameron
Just a few picks of Cameron around 2 months. Also some of him and Katelyn just hanging out!
Water park
Katelyn and Ethan got to enjoy a great water park in Hutch the weekend of Craig and Ashley's wedding. They had a blast while the rest of us watched in envy.
First Few Days Out of ICU...
Cameron was released from ICU on Tuesday June 2nd. Although we had to stay an extra day after that we were so excited to have him in the same room with all of us and out of ICU. The following day we all got to go home!
The Arrival of Cameron...
When I finally looked at the blog and realized the last entry was in December I figured I better do something about that! Sorry!!! As most of you know we have had another addition join our family in late May. Cameron Michael was born on May 30th at 2:26 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. Momma had to have a C-section since Katelyn was and as a result Cameron was born with some fluid in his lungs - which I guess happens quite often with C-section babies. So as a precaution he was placed in ICU and started on an antiobiotic just in case it was an infection. As you can see from one of the pictures he had breathing tubes put in his nose which he did not care for and I can't say I blame him. By the next morning he was breathing very well on his own and the fluid was gone which eliminated the possiblity of it being an infection. However, since they had started the antiobiotic they had to finish it which would take three days. So Cameron spent some time relaxing and got to meet everyone in the ICU for the next couple of days. Only two people were allowed back at a time with Lee or I so we don't have many pictures with many of us until later. At the end of the video are some pictures of Katelyn and Ethan (Scott and Angie's) having to entertain themselves through a couple of long days. They were both very good up at the hospital. We couldn't be happier than to have a beautiful boy to complete our family!
